As the Director of External Relations at the Center for Competitive Politics, I work to promote and defend citizens’ First Amendment political rights of speech, assembly, and petition. On behalf of CCP, I oppose so-called reformers’ efforts to limit campaign contributions, institute taxpayer funded political campaigns, revive the “fairness doctrine” in talk radio and implement other limits on citizens’ ability to support the candidates and causes of their choice.

CCP is the only organization dedicated solely to protecting First Amendment political rights. We seek to do this by educating the public and government leaders on the dangers of so-called campaign finance reform, the real impact of money in politics, and the benefits of a more free and competitive political system.
